Experience

Prior to becoming a District Superintendent, Gayle Garbolino-Mojica was a(n):

  • Award winning teacher in the Western Placer Unified School District (WPUSD) in Lincoln, recognized by her peers for an outstanding contribution to the education profession early on in her career;
  • Assistant Principal of Creekside Oaks Elementary School in the WPUSD;
  • Program Support Specialist for the WPUSD where she managed various state, federal, and local grants;
  • Principal of the Colfax Elementary School;
  • Appointed by the Colfax Elementary School District Governing Board as District Superintendent four years ago; 

As a successful Superintendent for four years, Gayle has developed a broad skill base of overseeing every aspect of District operations, including:

  • District Finance;
  • Personnel;
  • Collective Bargaining;
  • Staff Development;
  • Curriculum and Instruction;
  • Special Education;
  • Facilities and Operations;
